Yesterday, TMZ took photos of Selena Gomez, and Tyga apparently, while everyone else was busy with their own business( circa 2:30 AM at L.A. ~hot spot~ The Nice Guy ). According to the outlet, they left the restaurant together. Selena left from the back door while Tyga went from the front. Naturally, the internet assumed that they were in a relationship and lost all their chill. Tyga was also present at Selena’s celebrity-packed birthday party last month.
Before you jump to any conclusions, a source close to Selena has since reached out to confirm that she and Tyga are not inseparable. According to the outlet, “the two aren’t dating. They were there separately in order to see different people and ended up hanging out inside.”
Selena was linked to Andrea Iervolino, a filmmaker. They were spotted together in Italy. However, a source told Us Weekly that the two are “just friends.” The source said that Selena is currently “dating” and “keeping her options open with a few men”. She also stated that she is happy and perfectly content being single. Selena is surrounded by her best friends, who are her greatest support system.”
It’s hard to believe that Selena Gomez actually dated Justin Bieber after her split with The Weekend in 2017. According to Cosmo, they reconnected for a few months. However, Only murders in the Building star make any of their relationships red-carpet. This leaves it to me and others who are not close to her that they are actually dating. TMZ published photos of Gomez, Tyga and a popular rapper who was both her age and single. What did I think?
Evidently, I shouldn’t have been so quick to judge myself (and neither should TMZ FWIW), as the outlet posted an update later that clarified the situation and dispels dating rumors. According to Gomez’s source, they weren’t there together but were only there simultaneously. Tyga and Gomez had gone to different places, but ended up meeting up and going home together.
