For the FedEx-St. Jude Championship this week the PGA Tour is returned at TPC Southwind. For this time the tournament is different from the last few years, when it was the person of the house for a World Golf Championships event from 2019-2021.

Here’s the important information you should know about this week’s PGA Tour golf tournament in Memphis:

What’s different this year?

Memphis’ PGA Tour event has so much grew over the years. It was a regular June break on the tour schedule until 2018. It is noble to a World Golf Championships event from 2019-21, with limited fields and no cut. Now, in the FedEx Cup playoffs the FedEx-St. Jude Championship is the first tournament.

After Sunday’s Wyndham Championship, the field includes the top 125 players on the FedEx Cup points list, the final official-season event. The top 70 in FedEx Cup points will forward to next week’s BMW Championship in Delaware.

Tickets:

From Wednesday to Sunday tickets are available on Ticketmaster. Tickets for Wednesday’s Pro-Am are $35.For Thursday and Friday grounds pass tickets are $75, while for Saturday and Sunday grounds pass tickets are $85.

Who is in the field this year?

In the FedEx Cup standings the top 125 players are in this year’s tournament, as this is the first tournament in the FedEx Cup playoffs. That adds Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa and more players.

What can you bring?

The PGA Tour has a set a policy that you can bring bag with you at every event. Personal bags must be 6 by 6 inches, and clear bags must be 12 by 6 by 12 inches. All the Tour’s policies, including permitted food and the mobile device policy, must be followed.

Parking:

Ticketmaster also providing the parking, at $20 per day before fees. The area is located at 3640 Hacks Cross Road, the FedEx world headquarters.

What should I know about this year’s PGA Tour season?

Most recently, Tom Lewis shot 61 in the third round of the 2020 WGC FedEx-St. Jude Invitational.
